Beyond the Frame Festival 2021

Jump out of the screen and step into an infinite world

Viveport are proud to present Beyond the Frame Festival, Japan’s first international film festival focused on VR, introducing works that boldly take on new challenges without being bound by conventional frames in hopes to accelerate the development of visual culture.

In this first edition of the festival, a selection of VR works from creators from around the world will be accessible virtually, and experienced by anyone at home between February 12 - 21. The selection is hosted by Viveport, with the 360 films hosted on VeeR. The 360 film selection is available on smartphones as well as PC devices.

In addition, the festival presents a wide range of online talk sessions, from those who are serious about making VR works, to beginners new to the medium of VR. The latest updates can be found on Beyond the Frame the official festival website.

With the difficulty of going out freely in the real world currently, we hope you can experience what it is like to jump into the reality of infinity through VR. Check out the virtual world, and be amazed by the atmosphere of the festival!
