Description
Sketchbox is a rapid prototyping tool for AR/VR. For the last few years, we’ve been experimenting with VR but unlike web dev, where we prototype an idea in a few days, in AR/VR, prototyping an idea might take weeks. We fought tooth and nail with Unreal and Unity just to get a rough sketch of an idea that we could explain to other people. Often, after we spent a week prototyping, it wouldn’t even work in AR/VR because of the flow, or ergonomics. We tried all the drawing apps, and found they weren’t designed for prototyping - it was easy to draw, but hard to create and move UI components. So we built Sketchbox specifically for rapidly prototyping ideas in AR/VR. With Sketchbox you can: >> IMPORT ASSETS like images, 3D models and 360° images. >> GROUP OBJECTS to create components that can be moved and duplicated. Perfect for UI components, like menus. >> DRAW VECTORS. Sketchbox has every vector tool you need, a 3D pen tool, shapes, a polyline tool and drawing on 2D surfaces. >> EXPORT TO FBX. Easily share finished sketches on any device by uploading to Sketchfab, or import them into a game engine. Read more at Sketchbox3D.com. Note: Sketchbox requires creation of a Sketchbox account, this allows us to support additional features for some of our users, and makes it easier for us to contact you in special cases (we'll never send you spam). The first time you open Sketchbox we show a sign up form, after this you won't see it again.
